The e-commerce market in Spain has experienced a real rally in recent years. Growth rates exceed 20% a year, and the market has grown particularly fast in the electronics and fashion sectors. Users are now spending twice as much across categories as they did in 2019. Shopping appetite on the web continues to grow and so does Amazon.es.
Amazon is by far the leading marketplace. With more than 10% market share and annual sales of around €4 billion, it is an extremely lucrative platform.
